12:01 PM EST - Catalyst Paper Corp. : on Tuesday disclosed that it intends to sell, on a private placement basis, US$200 million in aggregate principal amount of senior notes with a proposed maturity of 2017. The company disclosed that the net proceeds from the offering would be used for corporate purposes, which would include acquisitions and investments to support Catalyst's continued growth.
