12:17 PM EST - ATI Technologies Inc. : shareholders of Canadian video chip maker have overwhelmingly approved a $5.6-billion (U.S.) takeover by U.S.-based Advanced Micro Devices Inc. ATI shareholders voted 99.7 per cent in favour of the deal Friday at the company's annual meeting in Toronto. The deal is expected to be completed during the week of Oct. 23. ATI Technologies Inc.
T.ATY are trading up 25 cents at $24.70.
