10:58 AM EST - Sun Life Financial : reported a better-than-expected 15 percent rise in its second-quarter results and boosted its quarterly dividend on Tuesday, propelling its shares. Canada's third-biggest insurer by market value said net income was $590 million, or $1.02 a share, in the quarter ended June 30. That's up from $512 million, or 88 cents a share, a year earlier. Analysts had expected Sun Life to earn 96 cents a share, according to Reuters Estimates. Sun Life Financial shares T.SLF are trading up 89 cents at $49.94.
