10:21 AM EST - WestJet Airlines Ltd. : said second-quarter profit fell 48 percent despite higher revenue as Canada's No. 2 air carrier took a big charge to scrap its reservations system. WestJet, which last week said founder, Clive Beddoe, will step back and promote President Sean Durfy to chief executive, earned $12 million, or 9 cents a share, down from $22 million, or 17 cents a share, a year earlier.
