12:02 PM EST - Western Goldfields Inc. : announced its second quarter financial results, reporting a net loss to common shareholders of US$4.0 million or US$0.04 per share on 113.64 million shares, compared to a net loss to common shareholders of US$2.6 million or US$0.04 per share on 62.4 million shares in the same quarter last year. Operating loss for the quarter was US$5.1 million, compared to an operating loss of US$2.7 million in the same quarter prior year.
