10:07 AM EST - Manitou Gold Inc. : reported on assay results received from the visible gold intersection in diamond drill hole KW-11-69, as well as channel sample results along the #2 shear from the Kenwest Project located in Northwestern Ontario. Coarse visible gold was intersected in diamond drill hole KW-11-69. The hole was designed to test the down dip continuity of the #1 and #2 shear structures, below the vertical limit of historical shafts. Considerable visible gold was identified within a section of shearing and quartz veining developed along the contact of two volcanic rock units. Assay results from this section of core averaged 1,055 g/t Au over a core length of 0.75 m. Manitou Gold Inc.
