12:03 PM EST - Saxon Energy : reported second quarter funds from operations of US$9.7 million or US$0.11 per share, compared to US$7.51 million or US$0.09 per share in the year-ago quarter. Net earnings for the quarter was US$4.6 million or US$0.05 per share, compared to US$2.1 million or US$0.03 per share in the prior year quarter. Operating earnings for the quarter were US$8.3 million, up from US$7.3 million in the same quarter prior year.
