03:19 PM EST - Royal Bank of Canada : reported net income of $1.599 billion for the fourth quarter ended October 31, 2011, up 43% from last year. For the same period, net income from continuing operations was $1.631 billion, up 19% from last year, driven by record earnings in both Canadian Banking and Insurance, and strong results in our corporate and investment banking businesses.
