12:01 PM EST - Canadian Tire Corp. : reported an 18.4 percent rise in second-quarter profit on Thursday, helped by sales growth in all of its businesses as the hard goods retailer benefited from more seasonable weather. It reported net earnings of $122.3 million, or $1.50 a basic share for the quarter, up from $103.3 million, or $1.27 a share, for the same period a year ago. Canadian Tire Corp.
shares T.CTC are trading up $3.30 at $90.30.
