Illinois School District Latest of Many To Sign Contract With This Company For School Bus Safety Technology

Investors are taking notice of an announcement by Gatekeeper Systems Inc. (TSX-Venture:GSI) (OTC:GKPRF) as the company announced a new contract this morning. The Company announced that they have been contracted to equip a fleet with over 70 school buses in Pekin, Illinois with cellular-enabled intelligent mobile data collectors, interior high-definition video systems and stop arm cameras.

"A growing number of school districts throughout North America are turning to video evidence as a solution to catch motorists illegally passing school buses when the stop arm is deployed and school children are present," commented Doug Dyment, Gatekeeper’s President and CEO. "Our technology is well designed for this safety effort and we are very pleased to support Tazewell County in this important endeavor."

Gatekeeper’s Stop Arm Camera System is specifically designed to record and target vehicles that illegally pass a school bus when the stop arm is deployed and captures license plate information day or night up to four lanes from a school bus.

Gatekeeper has installed more than 34,000 intelligent mobile data collectors and 100,000 video devices on school buses, for over 3,500 school district customers.
