Shares of Silver Miner Up on Maiden Estimates

Mexico is the world’s largest silver producer and a Canadian-based junior miner is betting on hitting gold…and silver.

Silver Viper Minerals (TSX-Venture:VIP) (OTC:VIPRF) operates its flagship La Virginia project in the Sonora state of Mexico. The company issued its maiden estimates for five discrete deposits including the Company's priority target, El Rubi.

Based on drilling completed by Silver Viper between 2018 and 2021 and by previous operators between 2010 and 2013 and has an effective date of May 1, 2021, the estimate includes Indicated Resources of 154,300 Oz Gold and 6,929,000 Oz Silver and Inferred Resources of 260,300 Oz Gold and 12,941,300 Oz Silver.

Shares which reached a high of $0.86 earlier this year, were temporarily suspended by IROC earlier this morning, and were up over 9% in early afternoon trade.
