Junior Miner Commences Helicopter-Borne Magnetic Surveys

A small Vancouver-based mining company announced the commencement of helicopter-borne surveys over its 100% Emerson and Jacobite properties in central British Columbia.

Rick Mark, CEO of Harvest Gold Corporation (TSX-Venture:HVG) stated “It is a landmark day for Harvest Gold as exploration of our new 100% owned BC properties begins. The Equity Exploration team has moved quickly to procure the helicopter airborne services of Precision GeoSurveys and flying may begin as early as today with completion within one week, depending on the weather window. The survey results will guide us in our expected spring reconnaissance drill program and, later, our ground based Induced Polarization (IP) surveys. All three programs will provide key data for drill targeting for an anticipated summer drilling program.”

Harvest Gold is a mineral exploration and resource development company. It is engaged in the business of acquiring, exploring, and evaluating natural resource properties. The company's exploration projects include Emerson, Goathorn and Jacobite Projects, British Columbia and Rosebud, and RW Projects, Nevada in the United States.

Traders seemed to be excited on the news as shares traded up to a session high of $0.175/share (+6.06%). This move is could potentially signal a breakout of the range the stock has been in for the last month.
