Cannabis Firms Make Noise

There seems room enough in the cannabis field for loads of companies to share their good tidings. In general, in the health-care field, the drop was 2.6% in Toronto, while in New York, the sector inched up 0.3%.

CBD of Denver, Inc. (OTC:CBDD), a full-line CBD and Hemp oil company which sells Black Pearl CBD and hemp products and the owner of CBD Social Network, took to the mike Tuesday to announce corporate updates.

The company is closing on the acquisition of CBD Welt 24, GMBH and its first Hemp harvest from the companys’ grow facility in Switzerland. This harvest will generate 25-30 kilos of top quality smokable flower and biomass which we can convert into CBD oil. In Switzerland, top quality flower is currently selling for $1,600-1,700 a kilo.

CBDD’s second crop should be ready for harvest within six to seven weeks, and we should have a harvest every month, starting in July.

Said CEO Marcel Gamma, “CBDD is continuously focusing on using our equity to acquire profitable Swiss cannabis assets at attractive valuations to create value for all our shareholders."

CBDD shares galloped 5.6% to 19-100ths of a cent, on volume of 29.7 million shares.

Back over the border, Red Deer,Alberta-based CanadaBis Capital Inc. (TSX-Venture: CANB), which boasts a status as a vertically integrated Canadian cannabis company, announced that its subsidiary Stigma Grow, has recently received multiple POs across Canada for their Craft Cannon and Craft Cannon Plus; potent cannabis pre-rolls boasting first-run percentages of 24.3 and 28.2% THC respectively.

Earlier this month, CANBoversaw the shipment of Stigma Grow's first 35,000 pre-rolled joints. Currently, Stigma Grow has Purchase Orders (POs) in place that respond to a specific need for Alberta-grown, high-potency products, and is in the midst of securing POs across Canada to satisfy similar requests for craft-quality, potent pre-rolls.

Volume for the company was not overwhelming, only about 9,500 shares Tuesday. But the price made noise, gaining a penny or 5%, to 21 cents.
