Northern Minerals Exults on Gas Project Developments in Oklahoma

The weather is not, and so are the fortunes of more energy companies throughout North America.

In both the United States and Canada , the energy sectors retreated 1.7%, though no Canadian gas or oil stocks worked their way into the picture Thursday.

Northern Minerals & Exploration Ltd. (OTC:NMEX) announced Thursday what was new with its West Lenapah Gas Project in Oklahoma.

Field operations for the West Lenapah Project have commenced and we are on schedule for first sales in August and first revenues in Q4 2020. Among the distinct features of the site is the compressor site with the main unit that will allow the company to move up to 1.6 MMcf per day. The site is designed for the ability to reconfigure and scale as needed for increased gas volumes.

West Lenapah, located in the Sooner State’s Nowata County, is aimed at operating, producing and developing a natural gas asset covering approximately 40,000 acres of largely contiguous acreage and 1,200 miles (2,000 kilometres) of associated gathering lines.

Future operations include the startup of 45 wells, the marketing of offset lease gas, and the development of over 40 identified Mississippian and Coalbed Methane gas wells currently located within the West Lenapah Project.

NMEX shares hiked 7.1% late Thursday afternoon to 4.9 cents, on volume of 179,000 shares.
