SpartanNash Price Subsides Despite “Best Firms to Work For” Citation

Food solutions company SpartanNash (NASDAQ:SPTN) has been named among the 2022 Best and Brightest companies to Work For® in the Nation, according to the National Association for Business Resources.
This marks ten consecutive years SpartanNash has been recognized for its commitment to excellence in Associate engagement and human resources practices.

Organizations in the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For competition are identified and assessed based on categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention and more.

The National Association for Business Resources is a leader for benchmarking employment standards, with over two decades of hosting Best and Brightest competitions. The national program celebrates companies making better business, creating richer lives and building a stronger community as a whole.

The 2022 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For list includes 139 national winners, selected from 1,100 nominations. SpartanNash has also been honored as one of West Michigan’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For since 2013, as well as one of Michigan’s Best and Brightest in Wellness since 2016.

The company will be hosting a National Day of Hiring for a range of retail and distribution center positions later this summer.

SPTN shares sank 96 cents, or 3%, to $31.32.
