Monterey Exploration Ltd. (T.MXL) hit a new 52-week high of $8.20; Pengrowth Corporation, administrator of Pengrowth Energy Trust, (TSX:PGF.UN) and Monterey Exploration Ltd. are pleased to announce that they have entered into an arrangement agreement pursuant to which Pengrowth Corp. will acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Monterey not presently owned by Pengrowth.
The transaction is expected to close in mid-September subject to regulatory, shareholder and court approvals pursuant to a plan of arrangement
