IMAX Corp. (T.IMX) hit a new 52-week high of $9.10; announced today that the underwriter of its recently completed public offering has exercised in full its option to purchase an additional 1,470,000 common shares at the public offering price of $7.15 per share. The exercise of the over-allotment option brings the total number of common shares sold by IMAX in the offering to 11,270,000. Including proceeds from the exercise of the over-allotment option, gross proceeds for the offering are expected to be approximately $80.6 million. Closing of the over-allotment option is expected to occur on or about June 26, 2009, subject to customary closing conditions.
