U.S. commercial crude oil inventories fell by three million barrels in the week ending August 6 from the previous week, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said today.
It said that at 355.0 million barrels, U.S. crude oil inventories are above the upper limit of the average range for this time of year.
Total motor gasoline inventories increased by 400,000 barrels last week, and are above the upper limit of the average range.
Finished gasoline inventories were virtually unchanged while blending components inventories increased last week
Distillate fuel inventories increased by 3.5 million barrels, and are above the upper boundary of the average range for this time of year.
Propane/propylene inventories increased by 2.3 million barrels last week and are in the middle of the average range.
Total commercial petroleum inventories increased by 100,000 barrels last week
