First Asset’s New ETF Offerings

Founded in 1996, First Asset is a Canadian investment firm. The company delivers a comprehensive suite of smart ETF solutions. Earlier this month, the company expanded its ETF offerings by launching five new ETFs. Barry Gordon, President & CEO at First Asset, said that the new ETFs offer low cost, transparency, active management, diversification, and a range of asset classes combined with a tax deferred structure to deliver an investment advantage for Canadians. Here are three of ETFs First Asset launched:

First Asset Short Term Government Bond Index Class ETF (TSX: FGB)

The fund’s strategy is to invest in and hold the Constituent Securities of the FTSE TMX Canada Short Term Government Bond Index in substantially the same proportion as they are reflected in the index.

First Asset Global Momentum Class ETF (TSX: FGL)

The fund seeks to provide shareholders with long-term capital appreciation through investing in a portfolio of equity securities of companies primarily from Developed Markets that meet minimum market capitalization liquidity restrictions.

First Asset Global Value Class ETF (TSX: FGU)

The fund seeks to provide shareholders with long-term capital appreciation through investing in a portfolio of equity securities mainly from Developed markets. The fund seeks securities with low price-to-book ratios, low price to earnings ratios and low price to cash flow ratios - in their respective markets.
