New Global Energy Seen As The Next Big Nutraceutical and Superfood Stock

According to global consulting firm Accenture, the consumer health-care market globally is worth some $502 billion. The market is set to grow by almost 50% to $737 billion, the consulting firm notes in its report.

Accenture adds in its report that this phenomenal growth in the consumer healthcare market will be driven mainly by preventive health and wellness categories, which include vitamins, nutrition, weight management and fortified foods and beverages.

The demand for the health and wellness categories will be driven by health focused consumers and the growing wealth of emerging market consumers, the consulting firm notes.

The robust outlook for the health and wellness industries augurs well for New Global Energy Inc. (OTCQB:NGEY), a Thermal, California-based company focused on acquiring high-growth firms, assets and properties in the Aqua-Farming, Agriculture and Health & Wellness Industries.

Yesterday morning NGEY announced that SmallCap Network has determined the company as "The Next Big Nutraceutical and Superfood Stock." The news sent NGEY shares sharply higher in trading on Monday.

SmallCap Network noted in its report that while there are several nutraceutical stocks on major exchanges, one has to look to the OTC market to find the next superfood stock. The report notes that NGEY is the next big opportunity because of the company’s propagation of the Moringa or so-called "Miracle Tree."

NGEY is promoting the use of Moringa, which has been hailed as a superfood and tool for the fight against world hunger. Almost every part of the tree, from its leaves to its bark and root can be harvested for human use.

Moringa is also fast-growing, climate tolerant and can be cultivated to grow in many parts of the world. Its leaves are commonly prepared and eaten as vegetables, the bark is used to make tea and even cooking fuel, and the seedpods release an oil for cooking.

NGEY is already using Moringa as a key component of its proprietary fish feed formula. The company believes that this will enable it to capture growing consumer demand for healthy seafood.

Recently, NGEY signed a distribution agreement with International Sustainability Group Inc. (OTCPK:ISGP) to manufacture and distribute MoringaUP(TM) Protein bars based on ISGP’s popular AlgaeUp(TM) bars. The company has also announced a new line of Moringa capsules that will be added to its line of nutraceutical products.

After yesterday’s price spike, shares are down about 5% as the apparent SmallCap Network promotion doesn’t seem to have much staying power among investors.

With the Company actively promoting itself (SmallCap Network has been compensated $10,000 in cash and 100,000 shares of restricted stock by New Global Energy, Inc. for market awareness and other advertising services on NGEY), and with the stock near its 52 week low, the story may be intriguing, but the investment risks seem to high to consider at this point.
