The potential in the metaverse keeps growing, and this company is looking to capitalize on the opportunities in this growing ecosystem.
Technology holding company UA Multimedia, Inc. (OTC Pink: UAMM) is stepping into the metaverse by land acquisition and developing a Sandbox Play-to-Earn game. UAMM focuses on blockchain, cryptocurrency, decentralized finance (DeFi), NFT and the metaverse.
The metaverse initiative will start with UAMM acquiring a plot of land in Sandbox and developing it to host entertainment and marketing events, per the Company’s press release. There are also plans to develop a Sandbox Play-to-Earn game as well as game assets which can be sold as NFTs.
UAMM plans to diversify and target a broader range of audience for its products and services through diversification in Decentraland, another metaverse as well.
Shares popped and were trading up over 30% in afternoon trade.
