Active Investor Acquires Nickel Miner

Nickel resists corrosion and one of its main uses is to make alloys such as stainless steel. The commodity is so hot that trading was recently halted by the London Metal Exchange. And one company just acquired shares of this nickel miner.

Dundee Corporation (TSX: DC.A), through its operating subsidiaries, has acquired 3,333,333 Units (Units) of SPC Nickel Corp. Per the company’s press release, Dundee’s wholly owned subsidiary, Goodman & Company, Investment Counsel Inc. acquired 5,000,000 Flow-Through Units.

As an active investor, Dundee Corporation focuses on delivering long-term, sustainable value in the mining sector, particularly undervalued mining assets.

Dundee’s voting shares closed Friday at $1.45.
