New Film ‘Bullet Train’ Leads Weekend Box Office With $32 Million Haul

“Bullet Train,” a new action-comedy film starring Brad Pitt, led the weekend box office in North
America with $32 million U.S. in ticket receipts.

Globally, “Bullet Train” earned $62.5 million U.S. during its opening weekend, making it the top-
grossing release worldwide.

Marvel’s “Thor: Love and Thunder” neared the $700 million U.S. mark after earning an
additional $11.1 million U.S. internationally over the weekend.

“Minions: The Rise of Gru” also continues to perform strongly, adding $15.9 million U.S. to its
tally and bringing its global gross to $757.9 million U.S.

“Top Gun: Maverick,” the sequel to the hit 1986 film starring Tom Cruise, is also still going
strong since opening in May of this year. The film earned another $10.3 million U.S. in its 11th
weekend of release, bringing its global total to $1.3 billion U.S.
