Air Canada Expands International Flights

Air Canada (AC) is expanding its international flights to several destinations in Europe as well
as Japan beginning next summer.

Canada’s flagship carrier said its new routes include Brussels, Belgium; Toulouse, France; and
Copenhagen, Denmark.

In Japan, Air Canada is restarting regular flights to Tokyo and Osaka starting in May and June
2022.

The Montreal-based airline is also increasing its frequency of flights to major international
locales in Europe, South America, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the South Pacific.

Demand for air travel has increased significantly this year coming out of the global pandemic.
Air Canada said its daily flights exceeded pre-pandemic levels in May of this year.

Air Canada’s stock is down 22% so far this year and trading at $17.31 per share.
