Air Canada (AC) has named John Di Bert as its new chief financial officer (CFO), replacing Amos Kazzaz who is retiring at the end of June this year.
Di Bert previously served as the CFO of privately held Clarios International and was also CFO at Bombardier (BBD).
In a news release, Air Canada praised Amos Kazzaz for helping the Montreal-based airline get through the Covid-19 pandemic. Kazzaz has worked at the carrier for a total of 13 years.
Di Bert's experience in aerospace and senior leadership roles will help Air Canada to realize its full potential, the airline said in its statement.
Air Canada’s stock has declined 14% over the past year to $19.21 per share.
