Retailer Mountain Equipment Company is opening a new store in New Brunswick as it expands further into the Atlantic Canada region.
The Vancouver-based outdoor apparel company said that a new store in Moncton, New Brunswick will be its second in the region along with an outlet in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Mountain Equipment Company added that the 1,500-square-metre Moncton location will be stocked with its usual outdoor gear and clothing. The back of the store will house a bike shop and rental equipment counter.
The Moncton store is scheduled to open this August.
Mountain Equipment Company is privately held, and its stock does not trade on a public exchange.
