Dollarama’s Chief Financial Officer Announces Departure

Canadian retailer Dollarama (DOL) has announced that Chief Financial Officer (CFO) J.P. Towner is leaving the company for another opportunity.

Dollarama said Towner will remain in the CFO position for several more months to ensure a smooth transition, including as the company reports its second-quarter earnings this September.

The Montreal-based discount retailer said it has begun searching for Towner's replacement.

Towner had been CFO of Dollarama since March 2021. It is not immediately clear where he is going once he officially leaves Dollarama this autumn.

Dollarama’s stock has risen 13% over the last 12 months to trade at $87.24 per share.
