Watch These Earnings Reports This Week

Markets will watch Logitech (LOGI), United Airlines (UAL), and Zions (ZION) today. They will post quarterly results after the market closes today.
Readers may copy these stock tickers to track the most anticipated earnings report for the week. They are:

TSLA, NFLX, UAL, VZ, INTC, IBM, MMM, T, ASML, GE, AAL, NOW, RTX, ISRG, AXP, HAL, JNJ, LMT, LVS, TXN, PGR, ABT, V, LOGI, LRCX, AGYS, NEE, PG, AGNC, BRO, AJG, ALK, STLD, APH, LUV, FCX, DOW, BX, NEP, HUM, VLO, ZION, KLAC

On Tuesday, Verizon (VZ), which already announced an impairment charge, will report results. 3M (MMM), RTX (RTX), Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), and P&G (PG) are among the firms reporting. The U.S. posted strong December retail sales, so investors have no reason to worry about PG and JNJ stock. However, 3M is a chronic under-performing business. In the aerospace sector, RTX is working through quality evaluations for its Pratt & Whitney engines.

On Wednesday, Tesla (TSLA), AT&T (T), Lam Research (LAM), and IBM are among the companies posting results. Tesla might address Hertz’s (HTZ) decision to sell and wind down its EV rentals. It should give shareholders insight into profit margin pressures in 2024 as EV demand weakens.

At the end of the week, tech firms Western Digital (WDC) and Intel (INTC) will give investors an idea of the health of the desktop computer and server markets. Expect these firms to raise their outlook for corporate spending. Corporations are spending heavily on AI. They cannot afford to ignore the automation and advancements that AI offers.
