America’s Drone Boom Is Here - Smart Investors Are Getting in Now

Distributed on behalf of ZenaTech

Drone stocks, including ZenaTech (NASDAQ: ZENA), Red Cat Holdings (NASDAQ: RCAT), Ondas Holdings (NASDAQ: ONDS), Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (NASDAQ: KTOS), and Draganfly Inc. (NASDAQ: DPRO) (CSE: DPRO) could fly to higher highs.

For one, drones are just starting to revolutionize various multi-billion-dollar industries, such as construction and infrastructure, agriculture, logistics, energy and utilities, public security, engineering and telecom to name a few.

Two, with support from the Trump Administration, drone technology has become an essential tool for the government. In fact, President Trump just announced plans to ask Congress for a $1.5 trillion defense budget of 2027, which would be about $500 billion more than current numbers. That would include funding for drones, as well. “The figure, if approved by Congress, would be the largest Pentagon budget in history. The defense topline usually sits around $900 billion and has never cracked $1 trillion,” added The Hill.

We can also look to drone company, ZenaTech, a a model for success – especially with it being the only company with a global vision implementing a Drone as a Service (DaaS) business in a potential $355.55 billion market, as noted by Research and Markets.

Better, its DaaS business platform provides business and government clients with on-demand or subscription-based access to faster and superior drone-based services for a host of surveying, inspection, maintenance, power washing, inventory management, and precision agriculture services, without the capital costs or operational burdens of ownership.

ZenaTech Also Just Won the Morrissey Goodale 2026 Most Prolific and Proficient Acquirer Award for Growing its Drone as a Service Network

ZenaTech just won the 2026 Most Prolific and Proficient Acquirer Award from Morrissey Goodale – a renowned management consulting and advisory firm exclusively serving the architecture, engineering, and environmental (AE) industry.

The award is part of its Excellence in Acquisitive Growth Awards Series and recognizes ZenaTech’s disciplined and accelerated acquisition strategy, acquiring 18 US firms in the AE sector as part of its 20 global DaaS acquisitions in 2025.

“This award validates our strategy to create value by acquiring established land survey companies and integrating drone-based data capture, automation, and analytics into their existing operations,” said Shaun Passley, Ph.D., ZenaTech CEO. “By purchasing firms that already have licensed professionals and long-standing client relationships in commercial and municipal markets, we gain immediate cash flow while we integrate drone technology. The strategy combines a fragmented, succession-driven industry roll-up opportunity with vertical integration—improving efficiency, expanding margins, and transitioning traditional surveying into higher-value, recurring Drone as a Service revenue streams.”

The Most Prolific and Proficient Acquirer Award, presented annually by Morrissey Goodale, recognizes the firm completing the most US-based acquisitions in the prior year. The award celebrates disciplined deal execution, strategic growth, and leadership in industry consolidation. In connection with the award, Morrissey Goodale donates to a charitable organization chosen by the recipient. This year, ZenaTech has designated The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), Canada’s most research-intensive hospital and largest center dedicated to improving children’s health, as the beneficiary.

Red Cat Holdings, a U.S.-based provider of advanced all-domain drone and robotic solutions for defense and national security, today announced that in December 2025, an Asia-Pacific ally selected its Black Widow™ sUAS on a competitive tender, with delivery of an undisclosed number of systems scheduled for delivery during calendar year 2026. This is the second Asia-Pacific ally to recently order Black Widow systems for military use. Further details on both orders are expected to be made available in the near future. Each system includes two Black Widow aircraft, a ground control station (GCS), and other mission-critical components. “This agreement highlights the trust our international partners place in Red Cat to deliver secure, U.S.-built drone systems purpose-built for today’s battlefield,” said Jeff Thompson, CEO of Red Cat. “We’re honored to support our Asia-Pacific allies with a portable ISR platform engineered for performance in contested environments. Ondas Holdings, a leading provider of autonomous aerial and ground robot intelligence through its Ondas Autonomous Systems business unit and private wireless solutions through Ondas Networks, today announced its subsidiary Sentrycs, a global leader in counter-drone (C-UAS) technology based on Protocol Manipulation, also known as Cyber over RF, has successfully delivered and deployed its C-UAS solutions to a German State Police office. This milestone reflects both Sentrycs' growing role in European law enforcement and the rising demand for lawful, non-disruptive drone mitigation. The announcement coincides with Sentrycs' upcoming launch of its new man-carried system, Sentrycs Scout, at the Enforce Tac exhibition in Germany, marking the Company's entry into a new multi-billion-dollar segment of the rapidly expanding counter-UAS market. Designed to detect, identify, and take control of unauthorized drones without jamming or kinetic engagement, Sentrycs' field-proven system is actively supporting Germany's State Police units in securing large-scale events and sensitive missions - ensuring public safety without collateral disruption. Engineered for the demands of modern policing, the system provides precision mitigation by safely taking control of unauthorized drones and guiding them to predefined landing zones. It also identifies drone serial numbers and operator locations in real time, enabling a comprehensive, intelligence-driven response. Unlike traditional jamming, Sentrycs' protocol-based approach operates without interfering with communication networks - making it ideal for dense urban environments.
