Tanger Jumps on National Awards

Tanger (NYSE: SKT) made progress Friday. The company, a leading owner and operator of outlet and other open-air retail shopping destinations, has been recognized with two national awards highlighting its commitment to workplace culture and investor communications excellence.

Tanger has reportedly been recognized as one of “America’s Greatest Midsized Workplaces” 2026 by Newsweek and market-data research firm Plant-A Insights Group.
“We believe strong culture and clear communication go hand in hand,” said CEO Stephen Yalof.

“These recognitions reflect the intentional work behind how we support our people and how we operate as a company, underscoring our focus on accountability, transparency, and long-term value creation.”

This week, Tanger has been recognized as one of “America’s Greatest Midsized Workplaces” 2026 by Newsweek and market-data research firm Plant-A Insights Group. The recognition is based on a comprehensive evaluation of publicly available data and employee feedback, highlighting organizations that deliver strong leadership, career development and a positive workplace culture.

This marks Tanger’s third Newsweek recognition in 2026, following its inclusion on the lists of “America’s Greatest Midsize Workplaces for Women” and “America’s Greatest Midsize Workplaces for Culture, Belonging and Community,” both published earlier this year.

SKT shares started the week’s last session ahead 40 cents, or 1%, to $40.23.
