Trade UiPath, Victoria's Secret, and Strategy

The SaaS (software) rebound in the last few months lifted automation firm UiPath (PATH). After markets closed, UiPath posted second-quarter results.

PATH stock fell by around 7.7% despite posting revenue growth of 13.3% Y/Y to $410.26 million. Non-GAAP EPS was $0.15. For Q3, the firm is forecasting revenue of $440-$445 million. And for the year, revenue is up to $1.794 billion.
After UiPath shares give back some of their stock gains, investors should consider PATH stock for trading.

In the clothing sector, Victoria’s Secret (VSXY) fell by 13.64% to close at $73.64. Revenue (+10.3% Y/Y) was $1.61 billion. The firm increased its guidance for this year. It now expects net sales of up to $7.18 billion, up slightly from its previous guidance of $7.03 billion to $7.13 billion.

The firm has strong tailwinds with its PINK and Victoria’s Secret brands. Still, investors fretted over its June semi-annual sale that will draw down inventory. That put pressure on its top line.

Bitcoin’s (BTC-USD) 25% monthly gain lifted Strategy (MSTR) even more. MSTR stock gained 52%. The levered firm saw its stock rise from an $81.81 low to $144.82. Assume Strategy sells shares to raise cash. That might give short-sellers a chance to add to their short interest of 8.7%.

Strategy’s comparable investments include IREN (IREN), MARA Holdings (MARA), Hut 8 (HUT), and Riot Platforms (RIOT).
