RF Industries, Ltd. (NASDAQ:RFIL) announced financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026 ended July 31, 2026.
Net sales were a record $23.96 million, a 21% increase from $19.8 million in the prior year period and a 16% increase from $20.7 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2026.
Backlog of $18.6 million at quarter end on third quarter bookings of $22.5 million. As of today, the backlog stands at $19.8 million.
Gross profit margin was 35.6%, a 160-basis point improvement from 34% in the prior year period.
Operating income was $1.8 million, an improvement of $1.1 million from operating income of $720,000 in the prior year period.
Consolidated net income was $1.44 million, or $0.12 per diluted share, a 267% increase from $392,000, or $0.04 per diluted share in the prior year period.
Non-GAAP net income was $2.2 million, or $0.19 per diluted share, compared to non-GAAP net income of $1.1 million, or $0.10 per diluted share, in the third quarter of fiscal 2025.
Adjusted EBITDA was $2.7 million, up from $1.6 million in the prior year period.

RFIL shares flopped 80 cents, or 7.8%, to $9.52.
