Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) announced that Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL), a leading testing and certification organization, has selected Keysight’s New Radio Non-Terrestrial Network (NR-NTN) radio frequency (RF) and Radio Resource Management (RRM) test solutions to expand its acceptance test capabilities for next-generation satellite communications technologies.
As satellite and terrestrial wireless networks converge, the industry is moving from Long-Term Evolution (LTE)-based direct-to-device services toward NR-NTN, which is expected to support broader device categories, higher-performance use cases, and expanded satellite connectivity.
Device manufacturers, chipset vendors, network operators, certification laboratories, and satellite service providers need standards-based validation tools to confirm performance, interoperability, and readiness before commercial deployment. This makes reliable NR-NTN acceptance testing a critical step in scaling satellite-enabled 5G services.
Keysight’s Wireless Network Emulation Solutions enable KTL to add NR-NTN RF and RRM capabilities to its wireless validation portfolio, supporting both pre-conformance and certification activities, while providing a path to future test requirements.
Recent Global Certification Forum (GCF) approvals have further expanded Keysight’s validated NR-NTN test case coverage, reinforcing its leadership in post-meeting validation counts across RF/performance and RRM as the ecosystem prepares for certification.
KEYS shares fell $31.20, or 9.1%, to $310.15.
