Network Media Partners with Paramount Network for Paul Walker Documentary

Best known for his lead role as Brian O'Conner in the wildly popular The Fast and Furious franchise alongside Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster and later Dwayne Johnson, Paul Walker died tragically in a fiery single car accident as the passenger when driver and pro-am racer Roger Rodas lost control of his Porsche Carrera GT while speeding around a curve in Valencia, California on November 30, 2013.

Walker was 40 years old. On Wednesday, Network Media Group Inc. (TSX-V:NTE), along with Network Entertainment founder and CEO Derik Murray, said it has teamed up with Paramount Network to deliver a comprehensive documentary on the life and death of Walker.

Titled I Am Paul Walker, the production is scheduled for release this summer.

The film is part of the acclaimed "I Am" series that includes I Am MLK Jr., which is being released this Friday, April 2. The film will detail Walker's prolific acting career, which actually began with a Pampers commercial when Walker was just a toddler and included work on popular shows and films on both the big and small screens. Network says that the film will also highlight the other sides of Walker that most fans never see, such as his love of oceans and marine life (although he did make several appearances on "Shark Week") and his philanthropic endeavors. The films will also include interviews with Walker's friends and peers.

Adrian Buitenhuis, who also helmed I Am Heath Ledger, will direct and co-produce the Walker documentary. Derik Murray, who has made films on icons JFK Jr., Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee, will serve as the executive producer along with Jon Slusser and Jaimee Kosanke.

Traders apparently weren't impressed with the news, as shares of NTE opened Wednesday's trading down one-half of a penny at 17.5 cents following the press release.

Shares are currently holding an uptrend since hitting 10 cents on September 18, 2017 and trading between their 200 day moving average at 16.7 cents and 50-day moving average at 19.2 cents, a range technical traders will be watching to be broken for a better signal as to potential future direction
