NanoSphere Health Launching New Transdermal CBD Pen

In the latest expansion of its product bag, Evolve Formulas, a cannabis brand of NanoSphere Health Sciences (OTCPK:NSHSF)(CSE:NSHS), in the next couple weeks will be launching its new Transdermal NanoSerum CBD pen to Colorado dispensaries. The pen will be joining other Evolve products available throughout the state, including the Transdermal NanoSerum THC, which is already on shelves at more than 120 dispensaries.

The new pen utilizes the eponymous delivery system of NanoSphere, a Denver-based biotech specializing in nanotechnology for biodelivery. The company's patented system nano-encapsulates active ingredients in lipid membranes for transportation through the skin into systemic circulation for immediate delivery of the ingredients to the CB1 and CB2 receptors, improving performance while minimizing adverse side effects at the same time.

The CBD pen is being marketed as having a "desirable 10:1 ratio of CBD to THC, with a combination of resveratrol and terpenes mixed in to provide an optimal therapeutic benefit with respect to relieving a variety of ailments, such as anxiety, pain, insomnia and inflammation. Resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant produced by some plants to protect them against environmental stresses.

NanoSphere trumpets its NanoSerum CBD as a daily solution for antioxidant support, a neuroprotective, a cognitive enhancer and anti-aging promoter, as well.

Shares of NSHSF are not responding favorably to the news of the new pen, sliding 8.1% to 35.6 cents with about 90 minutes left in the trading day. CSE-listed shares aren't doing any better, down 8.2% at 45 cents.
