Valeant is the most controversial among the analysts with three 'sell' calls against four buys, and four holds. The company’s main divisions, Bausch and Lomb and Salix, reported improving revenue in the last quarter. A higher staff count and a stabilization in R&D spend is contributing positively to results.
Analysts have an average downside PT of $19.82.

Teva Pharmaceuticals (NYSE: TEVA) earned the most "hold" calls. At three times the market cap of Valeant, Teva’s consolidation of its Actavis Generics unit will drive organic profit growth. Asset sales will par debt levels but Teva’s line of new drugs in the pipeline will eventually add to results three to five years down the road.

Regeneron (NASDAQ: REGN), which closed above $300/share last week, looks like a value play at a 15x forward P/E and a share price that is over 40% below its yearly high. The stock could make a run back up with 30% gains if the sentiment for the company brightens.
