Casa Taps Rich Veins, Shares Vault

Casa Minerals Inc. (TSX-Venture:CASA) shares went skyward Tuesday, on the discovery of new mineralized veins on its property in British Columbia. The Golden Dragon property – about 20 kilometres north of Terrace, includes what experts call the “historic” Paddy-Mac gold veins.

The network was discovered recently by Casa’ field crew while looking more over Paddy Mac and Gold Dome. The veins popped with significant gold, silver and base metal values, most notably, a two-foot-wide vein containing assays of 574.42 grams per ton (g/t) gold and 109 g/t silver plus 0.1% copper, 1.56% lead and 0.23% zinc. Still another sample assayed 268.86 g/tonne gold and 127 g/tonne silver plus 0.2% copper, 2.95% lead and 0.04% zinc.

Shares in Casa jumped in price by 1.5 cents, or 7.5%, to 21.5 cents by day's end Tuesday.
