Merger talk permeated the air in Canadian small-cap markets on Thursday, with word that Vancouver-based technology ace YDX Innovation Corp (TSX-Venture:YDX) announced the installation of the fifth location of Arkave VR to be installed south of the border.
This is the first agreement brought by Studio 41B, Arkave VR official re-seller in the U.S., and the first arena in the state of Colorado.
The Arena will be installed at Celebrity Lanes, a state-of-the-art facility specialized in bowling that also features other attractions such as an arcade, bar and restaurant, and live music.
Studio 41B, headquartered in Lake Wales, Florida, is a creative design firm that “specializes in the delivery of inventive products and solutions that capture imaginations,” according to Thursday’s news release.
Shares in YDX gained a cent, or 8.7%, to 12.5 cents, on volume of 205,000 shares.
