The highly-competitive mobile phone service was witness Tuesday morning to a new wrinkle, as Tulsa-based Deep Sky Mobile, made up of AppSwarm, Corp. (OTC:SWRM) and AI VentureTech, Inc., pitched the benefits of adding a second phone line to smartphone through its VoIP service.
A news release spelling out the details stressed that having a second phone number could help separate business life from one’s personal life.
Deep Sky also says the service provides an alternative to divulging one’s cell number for personal reasons. A second line also enables subscribers to add a line to their Android or iOS smartphone.
Deep Sky intends to offer Unlimited voice for U.S. and Canada for only $19.99 a month, which includes voicemail, and other interesting features, emphasizing the economic savings of the product.
AppSwarm shares gained 16-100ths of a cent, or 13.1%, late Tuesday morning, to 1.38 cents, on volume of 698,000 shares.
