Cavitation Scores on Successful Water Treatment Facility

Chatsworth, Calif.-based Cavitation Techs Inc (OTC:CVAT) thrilled small-cap investors Monday with word it had completed successful trials of its Low Pressure Nano Reactors in produced water treatment.

The company’s news release revealed the system trials began early this year and have gone through rigorous testing, achieving exceptional results.

Produced water is water found in the same formations as oil and gas. When the oil and gas flow to the surface, the produced water is brought to the surface with the hydrocarbons.

The release also touches on hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, "a multi-step extraction process in which fossil fuel-bearing rock formations are drilled and fractured using huge amounts of water. Oil and gas reserves that were at one time considered inaccessible are now available to be exploited. Nearly every oil and gas well generates water as part of the production process."

The United States has almost one million producing oil and gas wells. Water consumption volume is about 58 million bbl/day.

Cavitation shares gained two-100ths of a cent, or 6.9%, to 3.1 cents, late in Monday’s session on 561,000 shares
