Gatling Reports New Funds at Larder Site in N. Ont.

Gatling Exploration Inc. (TSX-Venture:GTR) got markets going Thursday morning with a report that drilling has extended the Bear deposit at the Larder Gold deposit in Northern Ontario.

The company has plowed forward by 500 metres up plunge from its main body of mineralization and by nearly one kilometre to the west near surface Drill hole GTR-19-023 intersected 11.2 g/t Au over 5.0 metres while hole GTR-19-022 encountered 8.3 g/t Au over 2.0 metres and 5.1 g/t Au over 3.0 metres within 150 meters of surface.

The Bear deposit – one of three gold deposits at Larder – has been extended 750 metres west and 500 metres up plunge by hole GTR-19-023.

Chief Operating Officer Dale Ginn stated "We have further extended the Bear deposit – this time nearly one kilometer west and much closer to surface. The new holes encountered strong grades and widths and are particularly important because the plunge direction of the mineralized lenses is becoming predictable, which in turn help us to target further expansions."

Shares in GTR approached noon EST on Thursday up three cents, or 6.5%, to 49 cents, on volume of 45,000 shares.
