Tinkerine Plant Okayed by Ottawa

Companies in Canada are finding creative ways to surmount restrictions placed by foreign governments on methods to keeping the spread of COVID-19 in check.

On Monday, Vancouver-based Tinkerine Studios Ltd. (TSX-Venture:TTD) told investors Health Canada has approved the Company's manufacturing facility to manufacture Class 1 medical products that includes the Tinkerine face shield medical device, thus clearing allows for the use of Tinkerine Class 1 medical devices in additional locations including hospitals and other medical centers.

Said CEO Eugene Suyu, "We are extremely pleased that our manufacturing facility has received Health Canada licensing and look forward to increasing our production as we add members to our Education Production Consortium and the Manufacturing Production Consortium with companies in Greater Vancouver municipalities.

"Tinkerine's ability to use Applied Design to solve real world problems in real time is just the start of our Production of Things 2.0 initiative. Our success in delivering solutions owes a great amount of thanks and gratitude to members of the health care community and education professionals."

TTD shares hiked 6.5 cents, or 28.3%, early Monday afternoon to 29.5 cents, on volume of 3.3 million shares.
