Equity markets wherever you look are not necessarily in pursuit of sky-high profit necessarily. At least one U.S.-based small-cap company aims to lift people up from the cycle of poverty, and makes no bones about it, to raise at least the social profile of equity markets, and make investors feel good about improving the world.
Monday, Kennewick, Washington-based Poverty Dignified, Inc. (OTC:PVDG) announced plans to hold a conference call on Tuesday, July to update stakeholders on recent activities and discuss the outlook for 2020.
CEO James C. Katzaroff, will be joined by Bruce Jolliff, CFO and Patrick Netter, Senior Marketing Consultant. Katzaroff said, "We have a large, passionate stakeholder base and as the three of us have recently joined the company we believe it prudent to introduce ourselves and converse with those who are interested to discuss our recent news releases as well as several other matters."
Earlier this month, PVDG announced steps to strengthen its management team as it moves forward to get its name out there.
Poverty Dignified, according to previous news releases, "continues (its) mission to screen opportunities with the intention of improving the human condition globally."
As for its own stock price, it zoomed 30% Monday, to 0.13 cents, on volume of 131.6 million shares.
