A small Indiana-based company has just announced that it won $9.7 Million in new orders from Lockheed Martin for the F-35 Lightning II Aircraft. IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. (TSX-V:IB) a leading beryllium and copper advanced alloys company, announced it will be producing two aerospace-qualified beryllium-aluminum components for the F-35 Lightning II aircraft over the next 26 months.
Traders seemed to be excited on the news as shares trading on the TSX Ventures exchange hit an intraday high of $0.24/share (+60%) following the news. This move was a strong breakout from the slightly downward range that the stock has been stuck in for a few months.
