Aerospace Shares Soar After Company Selected By U.S. Department Of Agriculture

A small Aerospace company announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture selected the use of one of their drones to do phenotyping and other related data collection and analysis. Draganfly Inc. (CSE:DFLY) won the department over with the Draganfly Commander Ag-Pro model, which is a turn-key UAV package providing extended flight times, high level of data resolutions and accuracy and the utmost data security, according to the release.

Draganfly is a Canada based company. It is engaged in the provision of engineering services and the manufacture of commercial unmanned vehicle systems and software. The company operates in Canada, the United States, and internationally.

It generates revenue through Product sales and Consulting. Product sales revenue consists of internally assembled multi-rotor helicopters, industrial aerial video systems, civilian small unmanned aerial systems or vehicles, and wireless video systems. Consulting service includes custom engineering and training and simulation consulting.

Traders seemed to be enthusiastic on the news as shares traded up to a session high of $0.82/share (+18.8%) following the announcement. This move is a strong continuation of the momentum the stock has had since making a 52-week low earlier this month.
