Micro Cap Tech Firm Announces New Global Customers

A small Boston-based technology firm just announced the expansion of its global footprint with Internet Service Provider (ISP) customers in Africa, Europe and North America. Zoom Telephonics Inc. (OTCQB:MINM) introduced Inq.Malawi, Wi-fibre Inc., Signa Technologies, Skyweb Illinois, and Wildanet as customers that are delivering safe and reliable connectivity to largely underserved areas.

Zoom is engaged in designing, producing, marketing, selling internet access and other communication-related products. The company's products portfolio includes cable modems and gateways, mobile broadband modems, asymmetrical digital subscriber line modems, and dial-up modems. Cable modem products, including both cable modems and cable gateways, are its highest revenue product category. Geographically, it operates in North America which is the key revenue generator and other regions.

Traders were optimistic on the news as they grabbed up shares to a session high of $3.50/share (+12.9%). This jump was a potentially bullish breakout from the pullback the stock has been experiencing in recent weeks
