International Trade in Securities (April) Foreign investors reduced their exposure to Canadian securities by $19.1 billion in March, the largest divestment since September 2022. Meanwhile, Canadian investors reduced their holdings of foreign securities by $5.6 billion in March 2023, a fourth consecutive monthly divestment.

Wholesale Trade (April) Wholesale sales excluding petroleum fell 0.1% to $85.6 billion in March. The decrease in sales was mainly led by the miscellaneous subsector and machinery equipment and supplies subsector.
