Consumer Price Index (Feb.) CPI rose 1.7% on a year-over-year basis in January, following a 1.9% increase in December. On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, the Consumer Price Index was up 0.5% in January, after increasing 0.1% in December.
Retail Trade (Jan.) Retail sales decreased 0.8% in December to $49.6 billion. Despite this decline, retail sales were up 1.5% in the fourth quarter and up 6.7% for the year.
