One portion of our economy shone slightly better in November, according to figures released Monday by Statistics Canada.
The agency reported that Canadian wholesale trade increased by 0.2% in November from October, led by the miscellaneous sub-sector of agricultural supplies, chemical and allied products, and paper, paper products and disposable plastic products
The nation's number-crunchers also said the overall increase in wholesale trade was slower than October's upwardly revised 1.3% growth. Sales rose in four out of seven sub-sectors representing 48% of wholesale trade. Sales also declined by 0.1% in volume terms.
