Inflation in this country slowed last month, according to figures released Friday morning by Statistics Canada.
The agency said Canada's annual inflation rate slowed slightly in February to 2% from 2.1% in January, with higher prices for gasoline and passenger vehicles helping move the year-on-year increase.
The annual core inflation rate, which excludes gasoline prices, was 1.7% unchanged from January.
